coloured seedheads
I had my last class this week at Polytech - this last session was to use drawings etc that we had done over the last 7 weeks and to take them further.
This is from a contour drawings I did in the first week and have machine embroidered with a varigated thread. They are four separate pieces and have I enough ideas to make several pieces! Hopefully my next project.
Today I have just finished a small piece that a friend has asked me to make - so I can't post it just yet - hopefully I will give it to her this weekend so I can post it for you all to see.

I love how you choose the simplest things like an ordinary seedhead and honor it in such a creative way.
Simple, but elegant in both design and color scheme. What do you plan to do with them?
