close your eyes and draw
Seems that the only time I feel anything about my sketches is when I blind contour draw!
Why is that?
It is hard to get myself drawing again - was inspired again today - I received a couple of postcards and ATC's from Janey - check out the freedom and feeling in her portrait sketches.

It's funny, when you haven't drawn anything for a while, it's as if touching pen/pencil to paper is alien to you. Then, something clicks, and it flows for you again...
