crazy quilt
I have been collecting embroidered cloths from op shops for a few months. Finally I have enough to start my crazy quilt. I had such fun yesterday - I am really going to enjoy making this quilt. I think also it is a nice break from making my own designed quilts - I love the therapy of just sewing when all the decisions have been made. Maybe I need to have two types of quilts on the go at a time, something that is 'design' when I want a challenge and something that is 'easy sewing' when I want to chill out.

it is a great idea. just a few questions though. do you overlay and overstitch? and how do you deal with the awkward sizes?
I've been drawn to these little table clothes too, and I want to cut and use them - this is wonderful idea - a big and bold idea. Beautiful work, crazy quilting rules!
