button day
Had my button day today. I had fun spending my $1.50 pocket money at the local Op shop. I spent half an hour going through their white buttons and found these treasures. I had a chat to the lady serving me and she told me of a local Church group fair coming up where they are going to sell all the old linen and china that their families don't want - sounds like fun to me!

This reminded me of a time my sister-in-law and I spent a long rainy Saturday afternoon in an antique shop outside Eureka Springs, Arkansas, looking through baskets of old buttons. That was so much fun!
